THE NATURAL HISTORY COLLECTION
I WANTED TO MAKE A MINI MUSEUM IN FROG FORM SO I PRESENT TO YOU 5 NEW SPECIES....
SCROLL DOWN FOR PHOTOS OF THEM IN THEIR NATURAL ENVIRONMENTS.all frogs are 11mm tall.
FROM LEFT TO RIGHT:
TriceraHops - The most ancient of all the species. These little guys have North Dakotan Triceratops bone fragments from the Cretaceous period inside which makes them more than 60 million years old!!! They live in volcanic environments near lava. They glow blue at night.
Rock Gobbler - The most precious of all the species. No two frogs of this species look alike. Each one is full of a unique blend of the most interesting and colourful semi precious stones and crystal chips. Extra points if you can identify which gems. They live in caves in rocky areas and are thought to live a thousand years. They glow aqua at night.
Mossy Tooth Gobbler - The most wild of all the species. They each contain a tiny mouse tooth foraged from owl pellets on a bed of real green reindeer moss. They live on the forrest floor beneath owl nests by night and can be found swimming in tiny puddles by day. They glow the brightest green at night.
Salty Sea Frogs - The most Salty of all the species. These salty little guys are full of sea shells... Not just any sea shells but a magical mix of micro (2-3mm!) species. They live in the rockiest coastal areas in the summer and spend winters on the sea bed. They glow aqua at night.
Dr. Fly Gobbler - The most scientific of all the species. These amber dumplings have each swallowed a fruit fly (drosophila hydei) who died of old age, preserving them for all eternity. They were discovered on the abandoned set of jurassic park. They glow green and yellow at night.
